I hand-forged this classic anticlastic cuff from a sheet of NuGold metal measuring 1.5 inches in width and 6 inches in length. The Metal Forming Glossary defines anticlastic as a form having curves in opposite directions such as a saddle. Synclastic forms have curves in the same direction such as a bowl. This cuff has been torch patina'd which allows the NuGold to shine through.
