When she wore this necklace, it was easy to tell that she was the Village Princess. Centuries ago in Gold Coast, Africa, these metal beads were made of gold for royalty. Today, the designs are the same; however, made of bronze for local villagers. The focal bead and four carved beads are bone accented with African trade beads and small bronze spacers. The side dangle is an old coin, small bronze bead and a seed. This neckpiece is approximately 19" long.
